SUPPORT UNHEARD-OF’S MISSON

Unheard-of//Ensemble is a 501 (c)3 charitable organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Each year, Unheard-of brings cutting-edge music to audiences across the United States and works with hundreds of students through our touring and education initiatives. We have been building relationships with the communities we collaborate with and stand as a resource to composers, artists, and audiences.

Since we started in 2014, we have worked with composers across the world to add over 100 new works to our repertoire and instrumentation, perform and teach at institutions across the country ranging from community colleges to research universities, and host our summer festival the Collaborative Composition Initiative for the past three years bringing together some of the brightest emerging composers from around the U.S. Your contribution directly impacts our ability to reach new communities and create new art.

We cannot produce these adventurous concert experiences without your individual support!

Unheard-of’s 2023 performances are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

Christopher Stark's Fire Ecologies commission has been made possible by the Chamber Music America Classical Commissioning Program, with generous funding provided by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Unheard-of Ensemble is a recipient of a 2023 grant from Chamber Music America’s Artistic Projects program, funded through the generosity of The Howard Gilman Foundation, for the Cultural Ecologies series.
