MAKE A DONATION

This December, we are raising $5000 to support our Collaborative Composition Initiative as we move to our new home in St. Louis! Funding will support the added cost of developing community projects, expanding our offerings to our program participants, and providing scholarships to make the workshop even more accessible and affordable.

All December, we will be releasing videos from our CCI 2025 as well as works by past CCI composers as part of this drive.

Unheard-of//Ensemble is a 501 (c)3 charitable organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Each year, Unheard-of brings cutting-edge music to audiences across the United States and works with hundreds of students through our touring and education initiatives. We have been building relationships with the communities we collaborate with and stand as a resource to composers, artists, and audiences.

Since we started in 2014, we have worked with composers across the world to add over 100 new works to our repertoire and instrumentation, perform and teach at institutions across the country ranging from community colleges to research universities, and host our summer festival the Collaborative Composition Initiative for the past three years bringing together some of the brightest emerging composers from around the U.S. Your contribution directly impacts our ability to reach new communities and create new art.

We cannot produce these adventurous concert experiences without your individual support!

Unheard-of’s 2025-2026 performances are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

UNHEARD-OF’S CULTURAL ECOLOGIES SERIES IS SUPPORTED, IN PART, BY PUBLIC FUNDS FROM THE NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY COUNCIL.

Unheard-of’s 2025-2026 season is supported in part by a New Music USA Organization Fund grant.
